* Always keep cosmetics in a make up kit, whenever you carry them around in your handbag or tote. This will prevent the make up items from crumbling when they get tossed around in the tote.
* Mascara gets dried up very fast when you pump it. Don't 'pump' a mascara wand as this causes air to enter and the mascara will harden. The right way to use a mascara is to twist the wand and gently draws it out.
* The plastic separator in a press powder is not to be thrown away. Keep it intact, as it prevents powder from flaking ( no waste) and it also separates the powder puff from the powder which is usually contamninated after the puff has been used on the face for touch ups.
* When using lipsticks, avoid twisting it more than half an inch from the tube. This helps to prevent the lipstick from cracking and also breaking.
* Running out of lipstick and it's to the brim? Use a lipbrush to take the lipcolor and apply to the lips using the lipbrush.
